Fiber OSP (Outside Plant) Engineer

Providing complete and comprehensive design for the following:
• Responsible for the production of OSP design in VETRO Fiber Map software ( ---------- )
• Responsible for mapping GIS data with homes/businesses passed
• Responsible for “As Build” documentation and verification during actual construction working with the Fiber Build Teams and Field Services (FTTh Installs)
• Responsible for working closely with the Executive Team, Fiber Build Teams, Field Services, and Operations Support Team providing regular updates and improvement recommendations
• Responsible for timely production of design and supporting the project timeline thresholds via Project Management Tools
• Responsible for working closely with Rural Electric Cooperatives to obtain electric plant diagrams/files for pole attachment design and requirements
• Oversee and guide the maintenance and expansion of OSP network infrastructure
• All other responsibilities necessary and assigned by the Executive Team

Qualifications and Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunications) or equivalent
• With 2-4 Years working experience in OSP and Fiber Optic related field
• Required experience in outside plant, aerial, buried, underground, and utility construction
• Good understanding of navigations tools such as Google Earth Pro
• The ability to learn and understand the telephone industry standards, local telecom practices and procedures, local city and governmental rules and regulations in the designated US areas
• OSP Fielding and construction preferred but not required
• Knowledge of fiber telecommunications networking, routing, and network management
• Preferably with knowledge of AutoCAD and/or other related software
• Good analytical, written, and verbal communications skills in English
• No travel is required

Hours of Work Required: 40 Hours per week with a Flexible Schedule available

Compensation:
Php20,000 - Php40,000 Monthly and is dependent on experience
5 Days of Personal Time Off (PTO)
Overtime available
1 Month Bonus (13th Month Model)
