Java and .NET Programmers (Junior level acceptable)

a. On-going product development, including but not limited to the design, development in ASP.NET, VB.NET, Classic Active Server Pages (.asp), J2EE and Java databases (from Microsoft SQL, Oracle, Sybase, Informix, or any Type 4 or better JDBC), web site programming (HTML, XML, CSS, XSL, etc.), component level systems integration, Application Service Provider (ASP) implementation schema and other high technology products and services as needed to realize the technology vision of Active Data.
b. Completes all phases of moderately complex enterprise application and technical solution projects.
c. Analyzes, plans, designs, develops, tests, debugs, implements, maintains, upgrades, and enhances complex elements of existing or new systems. Clearly documents own analysis, design, and test plans.
d. Reviews the work of less experienced developers.
e. Analyzes system processes and workflows to meet both business and end-user needs.
f. Performs root cause analysis to identify issues. Researches solutions and coordinates the remediation of deficiencies.
g. Ensures projects meet requirements by analyzing the results of user acceptance testing.
h. Adheres to established system development lifecycle processes.
i. Suggests improvements to coding and development standards.
j. Documents completed work assignments and changes to existing configuration.
k. Constructs project plans to estimate work, deadlines, and to track progress.
l. Researches emerging trends in technology and software. Informs management of emerging capabilities and possible cost-savings measures.
