Bookkeeper - Work From Home for UK Firm

GrowFactor is a unique, award-winning, Chartered Accounting firm in the UK who are looking for a qualified Bookkeeper to work remotely, providing bookkeeping and accounting services to its clients.

The firm has based its offshore team in the Philippines for the last 5 years and are looking to expand the team. Now offering you the opportunity to work from home or a remote office under direct supervision of the UK team. Save time by not having to commute to a city office.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be a qualified accountant and have experience of working in accounting preferably for an overseas employer. You must have energy and passion to help further your knowledge and help business owners in the UK and will be communicating directly with UK clients.

Bank reconciliations, managing creditors and debtors, entry of accounting journals and assisting with preparation and submission of statutory accounts and tax returns and management accounts.

You will be integral to helping UK business get accurate, reliable, up to date financials using online systems such as Xero and Quickbooks. You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients and performance will be measured against pre agreed metrics.

Time allocation: 75% bookkeeping, compliance preparation and client communication 25% internal planning and business development

As a bookkeeper you will have excellent attention to detail and be willing to learn new skills quickly and be ready to collaborate on all tasks.

You are not working alone either, you will get all the training required and will be supported by the current Philippines team as well as the senior UK team.

Key activities:
UK accounting is preferred, but not required
Experienced in end-to-end accounting and/or bookkeeping
Good English communication skills (verbal and written)
Must be able/willing to communicate with clients via email or call
Knowledgeable with the use of MS office programs
QB, Xero, Receipt Bank is a plus, but not required
Must be amenable working to UK hours

Qualifications:
- Fully qualified - CPA
- Ideally, 3 years experience in general or tax accounting
