JOB OVERVIEW

The Opportunity: The Administrative & Research Associate will provide a broad range of support functions to the Office Manager in New York. Expect a dynamic work environment with the unique opportunity to learn and grow in recruitment, asset management and real estate investing. The challenge will include managing multiple tasks and timelines, balancing conflicting priorities in a ‘high sense of urgency’ work environment, and doing so with accuracy, depth and attention to detail.
Work Hours/Location: Flexible work hours are available. At least 12 hours/week in US (EST / New York) business hours are required. Work ---------- pensation: Competitive salary with the biggest employers in Manila. Full benefits package after probation period. Christmas Bonus. Discretionary performance-based bonus.
Job Duties:
- Actively participate in identifying, vetting and sourcing properties, materials, equipment, contractors & service providers in property development and renovation in the New York area.
- Interface via telephone with law firms, regulatory organizations, building & municipal planning organizations.
- Research and prepare documentation for technical/computer issues at the office. Research, evaluate and source office equipment and supplies.
- Create copy for advertisements on job portals and classifieds ads.
- Schedule meetings and conference calls.
- Prepare presentations and reports.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree
- A sense of urgency in completing tasks.
- Initiative, strong risk appetite, willingness to make mistakes and learn from them.
- Intellectual curiosity, a thirst for knowledge of all types.
- Technical ability; a gift for quickly grasping technical and mechanical things.
- Attention to detail, structured and organized.
- Well organized and effective in time management
- Professional English communication skills – both written and oral.
- Internet research & business computing proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage changing priorities on a daily basis
- Prior experience with a US based company is preferred
- Knowledge of US real estate, house renovation, and construction preferred.
- Experience with E-commerce and online buying is preferred
