Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Procurement
- As a part of securing inventory, you’ll facilitate purchases, manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing & terms, and solve performance issues with our suppliers
Transportation
- To get our inventory to its destination, you’ll determine the key shipping details, execute shipments with freight forwarders, optimize for cost & lead time, communicate statuses to your stakeholders, and problem-solve along the way
Inventory Management
- Staying in stock is critical on Amazon, so you’ll monitor & manage near term stock levels, replenish FBA facilities as needed, and manage 3PL relationships
Strategic Projects
- Each of our brands require a unique touch. Key optimization projects include process improvements tied to product assembly, transportation, geographic expansion, product modifications, and much more
Analytics
- We use data to understand business performance, make important strategic decisions, and communicate key concepts to others across the business. Data analysis will be a critical part of your day-to-day
Requirements, Skills & Qualification:
*Preferred Background & Capabilities
*Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience (Supply Chain Management certification is preferred)
*At least 3 years of experience with Ecommerce Supply Chain Management (preferably with Amazon FBA)
*Coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PLs
*Strong Excel skills (modeling, problem solving, reporting, etc.)
*Experience improving supply chain processes and developing SOPs
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and curiosity
