SEO/Content Writer

I am looking for a part-time SEO/Content Writer to help me take our business to the next level. We sell musical instruments to people in Meditation / Yoga / Sound Practitioner field. ---------- I do most of our sales in person and are now looking to expand our internet sales and create an online course.

I am looking for someone who has initiative, to offer suggestions, take the lead. I am looking for someone who is willing to train and learn new things. Having a background in meditation, yoga, sound practice or music is not a must, but can be helpful in this position.

This is a part-time position; your hours will fluctuate. At the beginning, as you begin helping us with this transition, I would expect you to work a between 10 - 15 hours/week, however you are free to put in more hours for the first month if you like. However, that may change if you have some great ideas to help take our business to the next level. You will be working in three platforms.
1. Our store is hosted with Shopify. You will be working on content writing for both our products and for our blogs. You must have experience in Shopify.
2. I use SEO Tester Online to track our website along with our competitors. I am open to changing platforms for this if you have a better suggestion.
3. I use Asana to keep track of projects.

You MUST have access to great internet at all times.

What this project entails:
1. First is to improve our SEO rankings. You must be able to easily create a variety of product descriptions that will attract customers to our website and help with SEO rankings. I will give you guidance as to the main text for the products. You will use SEO Tester Online to research our competitors to find their top ranking pages. Use the analysis tool to compare their details to our site and then create content for our website on both blog and product pages. If you prefer a different app, we can discuss this.
2. While writing content for the SEO, you will use text that will change my shopper’s behaviour from wanting to come to our shop to purchasing online. We are looking for a creative, forward-thinking content writer to change their shopping behaviour.
3. When 1 &2 are well under way, I will want you to assist me in planning the layout of an online course. I have the main content but would like help with script writing.
