E-commerce Finance Manager

Game Guys is a small start-up e-commerce store specializing in Pokémon and Yugioh trading cards and other collectibles and we’ve been running since 2020 and trying to grow and expand but we need help with the right person with the skills above. We are also launching a new e-commerce store so this role will involve bookkeeping and being a finance manager for 2 small start-ups.

As the founder, I want to focus on my sales and marketing and creative side of the business and I’m looking for a person that is opposite of me and who is phenomenal with numbers and analytics. I'm looking for a bookkeeper/finance manager that can help us be more profitable. Before you apply, please give me a detailed breakdown of what you would do in the first 30,60 and 90 days and what data you would like to see to help you with the below responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
Forecast and budgeting
Looking for opportunities in products that are more profitable
Analyzing sales data and finding weaknesses and opportunities in the numbers
Helping Game Guys have better cashflow
Managing the spending budgets (supercritical)
Learning new things in a start-up environment
Improving the finance process
Suggestions on how to be more profitable using previous data
Financial forecasting and risk analysis
Advising on how to reduce costs and increase profits

Skills:
Data-driven
Analytical
Excellent excel skill and spreadsheets is your bread and butter
Ability to spot growth opportunities
CPA preferred
