Yoga Blogger - Ghost Writing

We're looking for a few content creators who will write articles primarily on the subject of yoga.

We will hire several writers for short trial articles of 1,000 to 2,000 words, for which we will pay two hours of the agreed-upon hourly rate.

Those that produce high-quality trial articles will be hired for a second article. From the 2nd article, we'll choose up to three writers to work for us long-term on the yoga site. The best of the writers will be given larger articles that require more research and will pay proportionately more.

We own several content sites and are building a team to manage those sites. There are opportunities to move to other sites, as well as to be promoted to full-time work as either a writer or as an editor/publisher.

But, it all begins with this first yoga article.

Yoga Article Details
* These articles are written for a USA & English Native audience.
* The articles will not be published under your name, instead they will be published under a generic author name.
* We own the articles and they may not be used in any manner without our written permission. If you want to use them as samples of your work, you need to link to our site where they are published.
* We will provide the topic and specific questions to answer in each article
* These are informational articles & include very little 'fluff'
* Articles must be 100% plagiarism-free and will be checked. No copy and paste allowed.
* Articles will be 1,000 to 4,000 words
* Articles will be written in Google Docs and must be formatted to our very specific standards which we will provide before assigning your first article.
* Most articles will require research regarding yoga or yoga-related topics
* We try to batch articles on similar topics, so research from one applies towards the next article
* Some more advanced articles will require tables of data regarding yoga products
* You must include links to USA Amazon or Etsy for any products featured in the articles
* Our editors will add photos and convert product links into affiliate links

Payment - We pay hourly which each articles being assigned a maximum total time for completion. In general, our time allotments are as follows:
* 1,000 to 1,500 words = 1 to 2 hours
* 1,600 to 2,500 words = 2 to 3 hours
* 2,600 to 4,000 words = 3 to 5 hours

The variation in times allotment for certain lengths of articles depends on the amount of research required and the number or size of data tables included in the article.

In the notes for each article, we will tell you how many hours have been allotted for this article. We are willing to work with individual writers to adjust hours depending upon the quality of research and writing.

Ideal candidates for this job will have:
* Personal Experience With Yoga
* Excellent Researchers
* Strong Attention To Detail
* Strong English Grammer Knowledge & Execution
* Experience Formatting In Google Docs and Google Sheets

If you are selected, you will be given access to a style sheet that defines our article format requirements. When you finish studying that style sheet, you'll be given access to a Google Doc with notes about your specific trial article. You will write your article directly in that Google Doc following our article format.

Articles will be judged on three criteria:
1) Quality of Research & Source Links
2) Quality of Native English Writing
3) Adherence To Article Fomating Style Sheet.

Any trial articles that are close, but don't quite meet our baseline standards will be returned to the writer with notes for edits. Those articles that don't meet our standards will be paid for, and we'll keep looking for long-term team members.

Those writers that meet our standards on the second article will be hired long-term to continue to produce content on this yoga website, and perhaps be moved to other niche sites in the future.

If you are hired long-term, we'll start with 1 to 3 articles per week. In time, we'll increase the number of weekly articles if it works for both you and us.

* Are you an individual or part of an agency?
* A writing sample of 300 to 500 words that answers the following question: "Who can benefit from yoga?"

Also, note that your application will be reviewed for your skill with the written word, your proficiency in written English, and your attention to detail.

If you fail to provide any of the items we asked you to include, we'll move on to the next application without a response.

We have several writers who have been part of our team for over a year. It's a primary goal for 2022 to grow that team. We hope to work with you for not just weeks, but years.
