We’re looking for a young and talented female designer to become our team manager for our graphic design department.

SOFT SKILLS:
Great attention to detail
You should be able to look at different designs, recognize why one is better than the other and explain how your team of designers could implement these qualities in their work.

Visionary: You are research savvy when it comes down finding ideas for upcoming projects;

Creative (such an overrated word): however we know our creativity shines through connecting dots that aren't obvious with new design concepts yet see if they would fit within the current project :)

Patient and Calm: Having the ability to stay calm and give clear guidance when working with your designer team will be essential. You will find inspiration from their work through critical feedback on what they do.

Eye catching branding: Having general knowledge of color psychology will help you understand how important it can be when designing stories using images with a set color palette that reflects the visual identity as whole – this includes being aware which hues stand out most against backgrounds or vice versa in order to make certain objects pop off!


HARD SKILLS:
- Photoshop, Canva, InDesign, After Effects


What role will you play in our company?

We’re looking not so much for a designer extraordinaire but for a generally happy and “just find a creative way to do-it'' type of person.

Happy people are excellent designers. We've always known that, but it turns out there's more to the art of design than meets the eye! You should also know how do photo manipulation in photoshop as well as creating designs on Canva - if not better yet then at least equally proficient with both programs so you can provide us your best work possible.

What does it mean to be on the team?

You could start as a design assistant and work your way up through our company. As you advance in rank, we can position you for higher-level management roles with more responsibilities that will allow us all of opportunity for growth!




Starting Rate: $8/h
Workflow: Part Time - 10h/week
Starting Time: Within 2 weeks

Work Experience: must have 2+ years as a graphic designer VA
Portfolio: Submit an updated portfolio. Share at least 5 works you've done recently and describe in a few words why you choose to share those works with us and what makes you proud to share that work.
