Market Intelligence Analyst

Emerging Strategy is hiring experienced full-time and part-time Market Intelligence Analysts based in The Philippines (Remote) to join its global team of professionals based in the US, Asia and Latin America. As an Analyst you will research, analyze, and report qualitative and quantitative business information, data, trends, and strategies, regarding our clients' markets, customers, and competitors. The work is usually unrelated to Philippines. Experience and interest in international business is essential.


Our clients are prominent global companies within industries including Education, Lifesciences, B2B Services, Automotive Technology, Consumer Products Value Chain, Specialty Chemicals, Enterprise Technology and Private Equity. The Market Intelligence Analyst may have opportunity to directly interact with senior international clients at major organizations.


Basic Responsibilities:

Responsible for desk research in English for projects globally, using a variety of public and subscription-based sources
Write well-designed reports and presentations in excellent business English, backed up by solid facts and analysis
Ability to deliver work according to schedule, well-proofed, and client-ready

Potential Advanced Responsibilities depending on background, experience and skills:

Primary research skills; ability to confidently interview high-level executives in fluent business English in various countries, across industries and target markets
Create well-designed surveys (experience using tools such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey is a plus, as is experience with conjoint analysis, etc.)
Data reporting within business intelligence platforms (experience using Python, R is a plus, as is experience with Tableau, PowerBI, AWS QuickSight etc.)
Creating final presentations with insights, analysis, and recommendations (previous management consulting or market research experience is desirable)

Candidate Profile:

BBA/MBA or other relevant degree from a reputable institution in Philippines, or a bachelor's degree in any subject from the U.S. or U.K.
Fluency in business English (speaking, reading, writing)
Previous work experience with an international firm, outside Philippines
Extensive research and writing experience in previous roles
Comfortable interacting with senior international business executives
Flexible about working on projects related to various industries and countries
High degree of comfort with Microsoft Office software and with advanced analytical techniques and functions in Excel, SPSS, etc. Quick to learn and use new applications and technology
Available for a full-time role, or
Available for a part-time role for at least 25 hours per week

Compensation:

Starting at US$1000-2000 per month for full-time roles, depending on background, experience and skills. Paid monthly through Payoneer.
