Pontoon Solutions -Analyst Reporting III

JOB SUMMARY:
The Reporting Analyst III serves as a subject-matter expert to the Reporting & Analytics Development team and assumes team lead role for a specified portfolio of clients to include a team of developers. Leads report development, ongoing production support, and delivery activities related to reporting within the VMS applications. First point of escalation for high priority and/or complex requests. Identifies and documents complex business and technical requirements to solve customer business needs in a cost-effective manner. Creates project timelines and ensures on time completion. Evaluates requests and provides recommendations that consider all possible solutions. Documents, communicates and executes solution recommendations with limited guidance from the Reporting Developer Manager. Independently collaborates with Business Analysts and Relationship Management executives to ensure reporting required by MSA is implemented. Independently collaborates with Business Analysts to develop in-depth analytic insight and ensures all solutions are scalable. Develops analytic datasets per specifications of Business Analysts and if scheduled production is necessary develops automation for dataset creation. Evaluates and maintains all requests according to standard reporting suite and reporting best practices to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of production. Evaluates all requests for 1st level approval, if escalation is necessary, gathers all relevant information and presents to Reporting Development Manager and Director, Reporting & Analytics. Delivers data and reports to internal and external customers, ensuring a high level of quality by applying standard validation techniques. Consistently drives vision of highly optimized and self-serve environment. Creates and maintains detailed procedures for data set development.
