Content Writer

We are a Canadian web design agency seeking a content writer to join our team. This individual would be tasked with researching and writing monthly blog posts for a small collection of clients. The topics would include: heavy equipment and construction, landscaping and snow removal, real estate, as well as digital marketing and web design.

The articles would be approximately 1000 words and need to be keyword and SEO optimized. As we begin to work together, we will typically provide a topic, keywords and in some cases an outline or partially started article that needs to be completed.

This will ideally be a long term arrangement that will increase in hours over time, and include more responsibilities, such as newsletter content, social media headlines and possibly website content.

The ideal candidate must have excellent written english and is familiar with posting on WordPress. We can provide some training and on-going feedback. Must be willing to work with ClickUp, Google Docs, Dropbox and SEO tools. Knowledge of Canva, SEO Surfer or Jarvis may also be an asset.

If you have other skills, please outline them, as we have other roles to fill and will give preference to individuals who can possible take on other tasks for more hours.
