Class Coordinator

About the role

Class coordinators are responsible for ensuring smooth tech operations and an excellent learner experience of every live virtual class. This is a customer-facing role that is integral to the success of our classes and keeping our product high-quality. Think of this as a virtual "front of house" role where you will be supporting human-centered learning experiences and meet diverse, mission-driven professionals.

Responsibilities

-Facilitate the tech requirements of every live virtual session according to our guide
-Perform tech checks with facilitators before each session
-Monitor questions in the chat and provide support for speakers
-Be well-versed in the NewCampus product and be able to support any learner enquiries
-Create updates onto the relevant class tracker
-Training will be provided

About you

-You have at least 1 year of customer service experience. You can follow a playbook, but also creatively solve problems on the fly while delivering a great customer experience.
-You have excellent spoken and written communication skills. You find it easy to hold conversations with people from diverse cultures and contexts, and have a particular affinity for Asia.
-You are highly organised and detail-oriented. You love taking an existing process and improving upon it to ensure a delightful end result for users.
-You are comfortable using digital tools such as Zoom, Airtable and Google Suite, and like learning new ---------- erest in tech, business and startups preferred.
-Students in tertiary education are welcome!

This role means being a virtual "front of house", so a quiet, professional space to take Zoom calls without interruption and a stable internet connection are must-haves!

Availability: Monday to Friday from 9am-1pm (GMT+8)

Nice to haves:

-Teaching experience
-Startup experience
-A tech stack that includes a stable laptop, monitor and headphones
-Experience in organising virtual events
