Accountant

We are a start-up telecommunications company based in Australia looking for the services of an experienced accountant/commercial consultant. Your duties will include but not limited to

Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
Examining expenses submitted by employees
Keeping an eye on incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable
Creating company financial reports with the above information included
Analysing data collected in order to determine the state of the company’s financial health
Analysing data to understand where the company is generating and losing revenue
Examining the proficiency of the software programs used to organise data
Generating financial reports that display the company’s profits, equity and cash flow
Experience working with ZERO software
Quarterly BAS preparation and lodgement
Billing reconciliation report for both Telco and Solar Business
Invoices reconciliation
Retail billing reconciliation for outgoing invoices start of month and payments reconciliation end of month.
Monitoring Retail Billing
Overdue reminders for Telco Payment
Calling clients for overdue amounts wherever applicable
Issuing Recipient Created Tax Invoice for partners
Invoicing Telco and Solar Clients.
Creating Payslips for employees
Xero Reconciliation


This is a long term position and has the potential to for the right candidate to be the integral part of the founding team.
