Looking for an excellent web designer with solid Wordpress skills. Is that you?

Hi,

An opportunity has arisen within our growing company for someone to join the web design team building websites for clients using off the shelf Wordpress Themes and in future potentially also creating them from scratch.

I'm looking for someone who has a real flair for good web design. You must be able to create graphics when required in photoshop or illustrator and also look at all the elements available for the theme and then come up with a great looking design that also takes 'conversion' into consideration i.e. simple layouts, optimised images, that kind of thing.

On top of having a real flair for design, you'll need to have a solid understanding of Wordpress and CSS, plus comfortable using visual composers and shortcodes to build pages.

This initial project will be for one website which is for a local pet shop and the Wordpress theme is Kallyas.

Please note this is an information site only and NOT ecommerce.

The front page is already 80% done, you will need to finish this off and also create a design/layout for the following pages using the themes in-built elements and if you have ideas for graphics that will make the site look or convert better then suggest these also.

Content Pages required are: Dog supplies, Bird Supplies, Small Animals, Fish and Cat Supplies.

The following standard pages are also required:
About Us, Contacts Us (Contact Form 7), Privacy Policy and publish 3 blog posts.

All content and images will be provided.

The theme is already setup on the domain name ready to be completed.

A pre set list of plugins must also be setup and all the images and pages added by the theme demo must be removed so all that's left to get indexed are the final pages that's been created.

All images must be resized manually if required and page load time is VERY important.

The Kraken plugin is installed, so this will help to optimise the images.

On Page SEO: Titles and meta descriptions must also be added to the pages via Yoast SEO. These will be provided for each page.

We're really looking for that special person who's a top web designer and has an excellent knowledge of Wordpress and CSS.

You will also need to:

- Have your own computer and highspeed 'reliable' Internet connection.

- Speak, read, and write good English.

- Use Skype and have a good quality microphone so we can have voice chats where required.

I have 1 more project immediately in the pipeline after this one and more coming down the line. So if you are successful, you will have at least 2 more projects after this one.

I want someone who is reliable and would be my go to person for Wordpress based projects and issues.
