Our company makes bedding and home decor products (think comforters, duvet covers, quilts, pillows, ceramic dinnerware, etc.). We are based in Dallas, Texas and design all of our products here in Dallas! We've been in business since 2005 and have been growing every year. We sell to both business customers (like department stores and bedding stores) as well as direct to consumer.


### JOB DESCRIPTION: LEAD GENERATION SPECIALIST

We are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative Social Media Manager to join our team! As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and strengthen our relationship with our customers and fans. You will be working closely with our eComm department. The platforms that you’ll be responsible for are (1) Instagram, (2) Facebook and (3) Pinterest. As our Social Media Manager, you will have a meaningful impact on our growth, bottom line and brand identity in an exciting, design-driven company where being creative is just as important as being analytical.

### PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

**Content Development:**

- In partnership with our eComm Director, create and maintain social media content calendar that supports primary brand stories and goals while also tapping into seasonal ---------- nts and appropriate trends
- Create original, on-brand social media content that our followers will appreciate
- Content will be a mix of product-related content as well as product-adjacent content (e.g., top sleep tips!)
- Leveraging data, identify UGC and inspiration imagery to be considered for posting
- Write effective content. Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
- Keep up to date with current news, pausing content and escalating to leadership where appropriate
- Partner with eComm and Creative tea ---------- mbers to create shot lists for social media, as needed
- Develop Instagram Stories templates and ---------- ing those templates and Instagram platform elements, create our Instagram Stories

**Posting:**

- Schedule content for Facebook, Instagram feed, Instagram Stories and Pinterest, either within the app or by using tools such as Sprout Social or Later
- Post Instagram Stories directly from Instagram app

**Community Management**

- Respond to all engagement and direct messages within 24 hours on weekdays
- Respond to all urgent engagement and direct messages within 24 hours on weekends
- Author thoughtful, individualized comments and messages in the brand voice in response to comments on our pages, on images where we are tagged or where our product is depicted, and on images posted by brands and people we admire!
- Develop and maintain a live document with common questions and responses
- Collaborate with Customer Care and Design Shops teams to optimize our presence on Yelp, Google My Business, and other review sites
- Adhere to rules and regulations - no “black hat” social media techniques! We want to build our brand presence organically
- Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network

**Asset Collection**

- Request and gather UGC from our followers and fans in our Airtable database. Request content usage permission for all images that are within our brand guidelines. Follow up via email or direct message as needed for any assets we are especially eager to share.
- Obtain or verify permissions for any images submitted via direct message, email, influencer collaborations or other means and upload to our visual curation tool, editing beforehand as needed.
- With brand priorities in mind, investigate content leads identified by social media, press, and other means to create a library of aspirational imagery featuring our products

**Reporting & Strategy**

- Assist in regular content performance and competitive reporting and analysis
- Provide ad hoc qualitative social analysis
- Be our in-house expert on social platform updates and trends in social media, interior design, home, and retail, presenting out to team as needed
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes, recommending any tools or technology needed and subsequently serving as the primary point-of-contact for the relevant third parties
- Ideate new social activations, such as content series, engagement strategies, contests, and giveaways


### REQUIREMENTS

---

- Must have at least four years of social media management experience
- Experience with Instagram, Facebook and ---------- are required
- Must have a passion for interior design and home goods, as well as prior experience working in this field. When you apply, please make sure to mention all the experience you have with home goods companies (e.g., bedding)
- Excellent English skills and meticulous in proofreading
- Loves building relationships and community
- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Canva or another platform that can be used to design your own graphics as needed; familiarity with web design and publishing
- Experience with Google Analytics strongly preferred
- Ability to work with our US team via email, Slack and Skype/Zoom. Highly preferred, but not required: experience with Airtable, Notion, Slack and Google Sheets
- Stable, trustworthy highly dependable. Ideally someone seeking a long-term relationship where we can both grow from the relationship
