Jr WordPress Developer

We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer to implement attractive and functional websites for our clients via the Oxygen Builder.

You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including, but not limited to the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security ---------- serving individuals can potentially be promoted to Sr. Wordpress Developer.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in Oxygen Builder is a huge advantage, but is not required as long as you are willing to learn
- Familiar with Wordpress, Gutenberg, Elementor, and Editing Theme Files
- Well-versed in HTML/CSS
- Good understanding in Wordpress CMS (Custom Post types, Child-theme, Hooks and Filters)
- Knows FTP/SFTP (required)
- WooCommerce (optional but a plus)
- Basic SEO (optional)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Assist with the management of technical projects throughout the development lifecycle and work alongside your teammates
- Assist with all aspects of development projects including scope, estimates, architecture, documentation, development, testing, releases, and enhancements
- Enjoy a mix of front and back-end development, working on and learning new technologies, including WordPress, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL, GitHub, and more
- Interface with multiple departments and vendors to evaluate client project needs and develop new digital features and to diagnose and help correct performance issues
- Help develop, test, and deliver web sites, applications and components to ensure project completion
- Manage the implementation of contents on client sites
- Help the Technical Project Manager with debugging and troubleshooting code-related issues/defects
- Help develop and follow practices in development standards, design patterns, and testing standards
- Stay up to date on the latest web technologies and general technology advancements in web development and trends within various industries
- Provide technical support to the team or the clients
