Senior Bookkeeper

We are looking to hire an experienced senior bookkeeper with a minimum of 3 years of Australian bookkeeping experience. You will be required to look after:

* Initial preparation of year end accounts records
* Regular bookkeeping
* Verification of balance sheet items and reconciliations
* Understand requirements for verification of annual accounting workpapers and be able to put these together without oversight
* Can complete BAS and workpapers to audit verifiable status
* Payroll

The software that you must have experience in includes:
* Xero (Accounting and Practice Management)
* Microsoft Suite of Products
* Receipt Bank

The nice to have software experience includes:
* Karbon workflow
* Quickbooks and MYOB

Must be able to meet identity requirements to obtain Tax Agent Portal access.

This is a deadline driven business (with lead time and planning) however there are a number of ad-hoc matters that require attention so an understanding of workflow is important.
