We are a content marketing agency based in Hattiesburg, MS USA, looking for a video editor to join our team! We create a range of content including social media short-form punchy videos, high-end podcast interviews, educational videos, and YouTube-style videos.

Requirements:
- Ability to understand the subject matter of the recorded content and formulate the best way to present it through editing (particularly with podcasts that span a range of topics)
- Have good judgment when it comes to selecting different takes for scripted and non-scripted content
- Experience with assembling talking-head footage and b-roll, basic color grading (Lumetri in Premiere Pro is fine), chroma-keying, sound design, lower thirds and titles
- Attention to detail with sound design including removing background noises, applying an EQ, smoothly transitioning cuts together and adjusting levels for voice and background music
- Tasteful selection of stock music and stock footage
- Attention to detail when adding subtitles to videos - most of our videos use American English spelling
- Experience with editing footage using a proxy workflow
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with After Effects is a bonus, but we can teach you
- Ability to follow style guides and instructions (video and written SOPs)
- Fluent in English with tertiary level education or equivalent
- Experience working in an agency environment
- Strong communication skills

- Strong ability to manage own workflow and prioritize tasks
- Problem-solving skills and initiative
- Ability to “manage up” and work closely with Directors and Managers
- Bonus: Experience working with Australian, US or UK clients

Working hours are 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, United States Central Standard Time. (w/ 1hr lunch)

Salary range: 20,000 - 30,000 PHP per month

Applicants MUST have access to the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, with advanced proficiency in Premiere Pro, and at least basic proficiency with Photoshop and After Effects
