Digital Marketing Assistant (Shopify + Wordpress)

We're looking to hire a full-time Digital Marketing Assistant for our fast growing eCommerce business where we specialize in the sale and installation support of mini off-grid, portable and emergency backup power.

You will be working on our marketing team, working to help our content team ensure all of our blog posts, products, video’s etc. are fully optimized for organic search.

Some of your day to day tasks will include:

- Internal linking, header optimizations and on-page SEO
- Keyword research and content planning using Ahrefs
- Google Analytics report creation and execution
- Link Building and outreach

You'll get to:

Following 2 weeks of training and shadowing, you will be managing our content, building links and optimizing our SEO strategy. Our SEO specialist will work Monday to Friday 9:30am-5:30pm EST or 5pm-1am EST.

Key Requirements For The Role:

· 1-2+ Years SEO experience with eCommerce and/or content/affiliate marketing websites (Shopify / Wordpress / Ahrefs / Surfer SEO)
· Have appropriate remote work set-up - such as quiet space, stable internet connection, and a back-up location in case of issues with the primary location.
· Have access to a wired internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload. You can check your speed here.
· Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) on a consistent schedule
· Proficiency with technology paired with excellent typing skills.
· Have strong reading, writing and communication skills.
· Willingness to learn all about solar power and renewable energy as well as care deeply about people and genuinely enjoy finding new keywords to rank for.
· Possess high level of understanding, patience and empathy
· Are committed to continuous growth and learning. You understand that every challenge is an opportunity and you get excited about learning new things.
· Ensure privacy and security practices are followed at all times for both customers and the business.

Bonus Experience:

- A background or interest in solar power, renewable energy, off-grid living.
- Have experience ranking Shopify and/or Wordpress websites organically
