We are looking for an HR generalist with strong analytical and communication abilities. An HR generalist is expected to be a conceptual thinker with exceptional organizational and conflict resolution abilities. You will be a skilled negotiator and problem solver with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
To be successful, HR generalists must have strong decision-making skills as well as a thorough understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and training.
Responsibilities:
Assist with all internal and external HR issues.
Participate in the development of organizational policies and procedures.
Make suggestions for employee motivation strategies.
Assist in the hiring process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
Employee complaints should be investigated.
Coordination of employee development plans and performance management is required.
Conduct new employee orientations and update personnel records.
Manage and prepare reports for the organization's employee database.
Produce and submit reports on general human resources activity.
Assist with budget and payroll management.
Keep abreast of the latest HR trends and best practices.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in human resources or a related field is required (essential).
4 years of experience as a human resources coordinator (essential).
In-depth knowledge of labor law and employment equity regulations.
HR administration and people management skills that are effective.
Outstanding record-keeping abilities.
Excellent understanding of HR functions and best practices.
Outstanding written and verbal communication
Excellent computer literacy, including experience with
Outstanding organizational and conflict resolution abilities.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Extensive attention to detail.
Work Terms:
Salary: $1,000
Full-time (40 hours per week)
