Rockstar Bookkeeper

We are seeking a professional, hard-working Bookkeeper with at least four years of experience. This is for a full-time position working with me and the team, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Eastern Standard Time Zone.
We have a team approach to provide high-quality client service for tax compliance, planning, financial statements, and general business consulting.

Responsibilities:
Prepare US-based personal income and business tax returns
Collect tax documents, verify documents, and input tax information into the tax software.
Provide the completed tax return with 100% input accuracy
Research on US taxes
Financial Statements review

Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting or Bookkeeping
4 years of Accounting or Bookkeeping experience
Familiar with US Tax Preparation forms
Familiar with ATX Tax Preparation Software is a plus
Fluent in English: written & speaking (minimal accent)
Comfortable speaking on the phone and face to face video conferences
Full time & ability to work hours in the United States (EST)
Ability to work with minimal supervision and a team player
A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Perform payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner, and submit payroll taxes
Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as-needed basis
Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
Prepare financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarization of data
Interpret and apply accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards
Ability to take ownership
High-level tax preparation skills
Superior tax research and problem-solving abilities
Broad software knowledge
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Must have stable and fast internet with very little downtime
Knowledge in QuickBooks is a plus
