Web Content Writer

We require an experienced Web Content Writer to assist with:
- Web page content
- Blog posts / Articles (short form and long form)
- Meta decriptions & titles
- Text ad copy (adwords etc)
- Any other text based content

You should be comfortable with:
- Researching topics possibly outside your comfort zone
- Writing on any topic from technical through to the fluffy stuff! (whatever that is?!)
- Writing in a style that convinces people to take action
- Formatting your written content for the web (i.e. adding bold, italics, quotes, links, etc)
- Writing using British English (avoiding american English at all times)

Useful skills, but not required:
- HTML knowledge
- Markdown knowledge
- SEO basic principles
- Wordpress / CMS experience

Personal skills we're looking for:
- Good English speaking skills, we'll need to speak on Skype
- Hard working and honest work ethic
- Vibrant personality - work should be fun!

We require a full-time commitment from you:
- With regular daily reporting
- You can work pretty much any hours you choose but we need to communicate on Skype during your evening time, typically between 7pm-8pm one weekday. We are based in the UK and 8 hours behind your time (we are Grenwich Mean Time GMT) so when its 7pm your time, its 11am our time.
- This isn't the sort of job where you work with us in the evening and have another job in the daytime. If you want to work extra hours let me know, we'll pay you more for doing so!

This is a long-term position:
- Please provide your resume along with examples of any relevant work.

- The point of this is so you can log your hours worked rather than being judged completely on the number of words you write.
- This means you can spend more time researching the content you write rather than worrying about churning out zillions of words.
- In a nutshell - It's not quantity we want, but quality!
