Gaming Video Content Editor (YouTube)

We are starting a YouTube channel similar to Gameranx by creating interesting top 10 lists and trending news in the gaming industry.

We are planning to upload 3 high-quality 10-15 minute long videos per week.

The process:
The content team will provide you with a full voice-over of the video along with relevant ---------- will be your job to create an entertaining video by putting together the voice-over and clips provided by the content team. You will be expected to find relevant content from the trailers of the games in the video, download them and then edit the relevant clips from them into the video.

We are looking for a comedic and witty editing style. We would also want you to include trending ---------- s, news, and relevant sound effects into the video but without going overboard with them.

You will also be in charge of transitions, zooms, etc. Our goal is to create videos that are entertaining and retain the viewer's attention but without going over the top.

Here are some videos we advise you to watch to get an idea of how we want our videos to be edited:

You will be provided the content schedule of the video one week in advance to help you plan the format of the editing and which clips to include in the videos.

For example, this would be next weeks content schedule:
Monday: Top 10 most overpowered weapons in Elden Ring
Thursday: 10 doors YOU NEED to lockpick in Skyrim
Saturday: Monster Hunter Rise - Worth a buy?


So on Saturday, you would receive the voice-over and clips from the content team for the following video "Monster Hunter Rise - Worth a buy?" From here you will be expected to complete the editing of the video with sound effects, transitions, clips from the content team, download clips from trailers, ---------- s, and other ways to spice up the video. You will be given 2 days to finish editing the final ---------- will be uploaded the following day to YouTube.

You will also receive a briefing similar to this for each video to further help you plan which clips to download for the video and how to edit them in:

"This video will be titled: Monster Hunter Rise PC - Worth A Buy?

It will be part of our "Worth A Buy?" playlist where we point out the advantages and disadvantages of the game and why the viewers should buy Monster Hunter Rise

Video Instructions:
Play Monster Hunter: Rise and compile a list of the advantages and disadvantages of the game. The ultimate goal in this video is to give the viewers an idea about whether the game would be worth purchasing and what kind of audience the game appeals to. You’d need to provide in-game content showcasing the fighting mechanics, graphics, inventory menu, crafting, etc."

Requirements:
- Experience with using editing software such as Premiere Pro
- Able to edit in funny sound effects and clips relevant to the video (But do not edit it too many otherwise it gets distracting)
- An interest in the gaming industry and keeping up to date with the latest games and trends
- Comedic/witty editing style

NOTE: We have a policy of avoiding the use of any music whatsoever in our videos, even if it is copyright-free. This is because it has caused us huge amounts of trouble in the past.
