Real Estate Investment Analyst - Full Time - Work From Home

McIntire Real Estate Inc (“MRE”) is a growing Real Estate company located in Los Angeles, California. MRE utilizes systems, strategies and technology to provide services in brokerage, leasing, property management, and the investment field.

***We are looking for an employee with at least 3 years of accounting or investment analyst experience. Appfolio Property Management Software Experience is a Plus***

About this Opportunity:

We are currently seeking two new analysts to provide support in the investment management division. We are looking to develop a team of two too start on a full-time basis who will work remote from home. As MRE continues to expand, you will have more opportunity to grow with us. Your primary tasks will involve working directly with investment spreadsheets and working in the Appfolio investment management software. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsibilities:
~Developing and refining investment spreadsheets
~Analyzing investment opportunities
~Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports as required
~Produce financial statements, detailed variance analysis, and general ledger account reconciliation for individual entities
~Working in Appfolio Investment Manager software
~Working with company investors
~Prepare investment decks and presentations
~Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
~Calculate ROI, IRR, and investment comparisons
~Reconcile year-end K1 tax reports for clients
~Assist with accounting systems
~Assist in the creation and maintenance of process documentations

Required Skills:
~3+ years accounting or analyst Experience
~Conscientious about timeliness of assignments and quality of work product
~Organize and prioritize tasks and work with minimal direction
~Good accounting and financial reporting technical skills
~Exceptional work ethic and goal oriented
~Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
~Experience identifying accounting systems and knowledge of AppFolio is a plus
~Preference for candidates with some real estate experience

Education:
~Accounting or finance education
