Essential skills and primary responsibilities are outlined below:
I am looking to form a long-term cooperation with a highly experienced graphic designer, who has experience with Merch by Amazon and is able to do niche and keyword research and who can also assist me in the operation of my Merch by Amazon business.
Essential skills are outlined below:
· Strong familiarity with Merch by Amazon.
· Researching skills. I need someone who can use Merchinformer or other software to identify low or no competition niches that have potential to be profitable. Previous experience with this is a MUST.
Research is almost as important of a skill as design skill. I need someone who can aggressively find new niches of opportunity. Relevant keyword research.
You will be provided tools you will need including Jungle Scout. You will be good at SEO (title and keywords) in order to get a good position for the product listing within the platform. You will document these niches/products/keywords research in Excel spreadsheet.
· A thorough understanding of the importance of not infringing on copyrights and trademarks. Familiarity with websites such as USPTO to check against trademarked/copyrighted works or other software to ensure we are legally allowed to use certain words/phrases and designs.
· A thorough understanding on the importance of creating ORIGINAL and UNIQUE content. Vector use is okay ONLY if the creator has made them available for anyone to use for commercial purposes.
· Excellent communication. I want updates on where we are in the design process, roadblocks you may have encountered, etc. I value communication and want to make sure that you are getting all the help you need from me in order for you to accomplish your job.
· Initially, we need you to start all the heavy lifting including designs, niche and keyword research, data tracking and SEO, uploading designs and updating listings–but eventually you will work with a designer so you can focus more on working on the Merch by Amazon account.
The expectations for this job on a daily basis would be to research and identify low competition niches, ones that appear to have a demand but have few sellers, then create designs for those niches to serve the market. Our goal will always be to "out design" competitors in each niche we enter, by creating the most high quality, creative, or original artwork possible. Our requirements in terms of designing are a bit specific. I will pay for the time and not for designs. I want you to work as effective as possible, so I want you to scale the designs and make variations.
I want you to create a nice unique design in a niche that fits my strategy (e.g. profession, course, likes/hobby shirts). Then I want you to create variations of these designs, by just changing the words, the illustration, the color or the effects -depending on the niche you are creating, maybe 3 to 4 variations. This saves a lot of time and maximizes the results.
If you create a design, the first design will take the longest time to create, the following variations, where you just have to change some words or something, often just take a few minutes to create.
