We are looking for a skilled Accountant to be responsible for monthly close, general ledger account reconciliations and maintaining accounting schedules.

Job Responsibilities:
Support the monthly close process and the year-end external audit.
Monitor, analyze, reconcile and prepare journal entries related to balance sheet accounts. (Fixed Assets, Prepaid Expenses, Prepaid insurance, Security Deposits, Deferred Rent, Accrued Expenses, etc)
Work with the Finance team on ad-hoc accounting and finance related projects.
Assist in implementation of accounting best practices and ---------- ndidate background/Qualifications:
2-4 Years of professional accounting/finance experience; Retail background and/or public accounting experience a plus
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
Strong proficiency in Excel
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
