CAD draftsperson

We are a leading graphic specialist within Building Services & Fire Safety Industry. Due to an influx of projects and demand of high quality visual solutions, an opportunity exists for a Fire & Building Services Draftsperson to join our company.

You will be working in a project environment to produce effective visual evacuation diagrams for a variety of projects across aged care, health care, commercial, mining, industrial etc.

Your key role will be producing evacuation diagrams from sketches/DWG/PDF files using Autocad as well as project managing the cycle of jobs in our workflow system.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications in Graphics / Autocad (degree, diploma)
- Strong graphics & visual presentation skills is a must
- Strong AutoCAD skills derived from on-the-job experience on a range of projects
- High level attention to detail especially in interpreting mark-ups
- Working knowledge and understanding of relevant Australian building codes and standards
- Extremely organised with the ability to juggle simultaneous tasks – degree of management capability is required here
- The ability to work autonomously
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous
