Finance - Bookkeeping / Auditing

We're looking to hire an experienced, full-time eCommerce Finance Analyst for our fast growing business where we specialize in selling and promoting renewable energy and sustainable living products.

You will be supporting our operations, fulfilment & marketing teams in order to provide accurate financial data for effective decision making.

Some of your day to day tasks will include:

- Creating budgets, forecasts and projections
- Supplier invoice management and QuickBooks entries
- Pricing products and inventory
- Sales tax management and auditing
- Tracking income and expenses and maintaining an up to date P&L
- Credit card and bank account statement auditing
- General finance and administrative assistance

Following 2 weeks of training and shadowing, you will be working autonomously to create financial reports, provide accurate and timely decision making information as well as build out standard reporting procedures. Our Finance Analyst will work Monday to Friday 11am-7pm EST.

Key Requirements For The Role:

· 5+ years of finance and bookkeeping experience
- Strong, above average verbal and written English
- Experience working in QuickBooks, Shopify and Google sheets
- Educational background in finance / accounting
- Have appropriate remote work set-up - such as quiet space, stable internet connection, and a back-up location in case of issues with the primary location.
- Have access to a wired internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download speed and 10 Mbps upload. You can check your speed here.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) on a consistent schedule from 11am-7pm EST - Monday-Friday
- Proficiency with technology paired with excellent typing skills.
- Have strong reading, writing and communication skills.

Bonus Experience:

- A background or interest in solar power, renewable energy, off-grid living.
- Have experience using the Shopify platform / eCommerce
- CPA or other accounting designation
