Youtube video editor for UK Company

Are you interested in a video editing job on an entertainment channel that also educates about critical thinking, psychology, and power dynamics?

If so, you may be interested in this channel. The channel is unique – a video essay style format, but instead of a human narrating, we have a malevolent alien. This alien is advising specific humans in power on how to manipulate/influence the people they lead (presidents, military leaders, dictators, media company owners, etc.).

The position paid at $9-10/hr depending on editing speed, efficiency, and quality. The position is full-time, however part-time is also possible.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience video editing (software is flexible, but we usually use Premiere)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Background working on the YouTube platform

RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB:

- Put the VO’s take into your timeline, add voice effects
- Then search for footage on the internet. Additionally, you can use a collection of footage we’ve compiled, which will be useful for aspects of the video
- Note – you’ll have some rough visual guidance in the script. Ideas for footage to collect. However, there will be a responsibility to think creativity, create quality visual representations/anchors for the script’s points, etc. This is a role where you’ll have to think creatively and give your own unique twist


Channel Vision
This is the 3rd YouTube channel out of 20+ that we’ll launch in the next 5 years. The goal by 2025 is 300M views/month across 20+ channels, with each channel dedicated to the vision of helping people develop their critical thinking and self-awareness skills – and ultimately, build such skills social norms.

Job Security:

- The finances of the malevolent alien channel are 100% funded by our agency. We have funds to pay all expenses for this channel, for a year, without the channel earning anything. Allowing us the freedom to experiment and grow the channel without concern for earning
- Consistent work, with a consistent payment. Depending on how involved you become in the channel, you may be able to earn a % of Ad Revenue for each video (become a co-creator of the brand).
- Channel backed by a company well-experienced with YouTube content creation, tactics, etc.
