Uncommon Knowledge is a psychology training company of almost twenty years, and we have been online since 1999. We also run high-traffic blog sites such as Uncommon Help (Drupal) and Mark’s Therapy Tips (Wordpress), among many others.
###
The Work

The majority of work will most likely fall into one of the following categories:
*** Wordpress CMS
- Creating and editing site templates
Implementing modules and customising them if needed
- Front-end and back-end changes
*** General technical tasks
- Working on technical support tickets if required
- Fixing broken code or site errors
- Implementing or improving functionality on our sites
*** Taking design mockups and converting them to HTML/CSS
- The above would then have to be implemented into Wordpress, usually on top of current existing templates
*** Setting up A/B tests
- Usually involves some work listed above alongside setting up the test inside our testing software (VisualWebsiteOptimizer)
*** Working alongside our current remote tech team on projects.
- You will be encouraged to brainstorm and share your opinion on problem solving certain tasks
###

###
Hours and payment
###
The role would be on a part-time basis. Working days and hours can be negotiated. However, since we are based in the United Kingdom, it would be ideal if you were working at the same time of day as us, this means we can communicate quickly at certain times of the day.
