WordPress Developer (Work full time at home)

We are offering you a full-time position as a WordPress developer to join our awesome team of 9 Filipino Developers to build custom WordPress websites using Elementor.

We are ---------- , an Australian business that has an excellent reputation for creating awesome-looking custom websites, branding, and marketing graphics for our clients all around the world that use online marketing funnels to grow their businesses.

You must have great knowledge of the following:
- Know how to code mobile responsive websites on the Hello Theme for WordPress using Elementor & or Genesis Framework using ACF.
- Have experience in splicing from Adobe XD design files.
- Have an understanding of Elementor and its advanced plugins.
- Have an understanding of Hosting cPanel functionalities, FTP, MySQL, phpMy Admin, Domain management.
- Know HTML / CSS & W3C coding standards, PHP, Javascript, Jquery coding languages.
- Are familiar with basic SEO setup like headings placements, backlinks
- Have experience with the WP Engine hosting platform.
- Are familiar with domain registrars and hosting cPanel

You will have an advantage if you have the following knowledge on how to speed up websites:
- Have experience with WooCommerce customization
- Have a good understanding of Google page insights and how to follow their recommendations, especially on mobile.
- Familiar with Caching and optimization plugins like wpRocket and Auto-optimize
- Able to check if images are optimized properly and if the page is utilizing .svg and favicons
- Check if the fonts are set up properly and preloaded
- Familiar with the YOAST SEO plugin
- Able to do research by yourself if you encounter challenges
- Knowledge in PHP and Javascript

You will need to:
- Be self-motivated & reliable
- Work at a reasonably fast pace
- Have fast & reliable computer & internet connection
- Have access to Adobe XD so you can export the design elements.
- Work full-time on weekdays only and within standard business hours.
- Commit to a full-time position with the goal to work with us for at least two years.
- Be ethical, be a team player, and be a good communicator.
- Be available for Zoom calls with the other developers on our team.
- Have occasional Zoom calls with our clients when needed.
- Have good English speaking & writing skills.

***Note: We are looking for experienced developers only. You will not have to design at all. We have a design team.***

The position will start with a fully paid full-time 4 week trial period, (Monday-Friday, 9am - 5pm Filipino time) to see how well you work. If your performance and talent are suitable we will offer you a permanent full-time position.
