Full Time Commecial and Franchising Lawyer

We are a national QSR chain in Australia who has expanded mainly through franchising. We are looking for an experienced commercial lawyer to join our team reporting to our CFO and working as a part of the Management Team

We have a wide range of legal tasks that need to be handled including:

1. Franchise Agreement and Disclosure (issuing and preparation)
2. Drafting and Managing Breaches
3. Dealing with Leasing Matters
4. Assisting with Commercial Contracts
5. Designing Legal Templates
6. Maintaining Legal Files
7. Dealing with Commercial Leases (New & Renewals)
8. Dealing with other commerical law matters

Knowledge of franchising, leasing and the franchising code of contact in Australia would be highly beneficial.

You will of course, require a legal qualification and experience in this areas as well.

We work on Australian Eastern Time (based in Melbourne). Our standard remote office hours are 9am-5.30pm AEST. As an employer of choice, we do offer flexible working arrangements, hoeever, many of the required meetings will be in this time.
