About the Role

As a Travel & Events Manager, you will be part of a growing Marketing organization. You’ll have the unique opportunity to build our event strategy from the ground up – driving prospect acquisition, lead conversion and customer engagement. This is a great opportunity to join one of the fastest growing fintech startups as an early teaUpgrade to see actual infomber.

This is a cross-functional marketing role responsible for strategy and execution. You’ll not only develop our event strategy, but also own the relationship with event organizers and work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and the leadership team to flawlessly execute events targeting B2B SaaS companies, financial institutions, and other fintechs.

Responsibilities

You can research, recommend and execute our annual event marketing strategy across virtual and in-person field events, industry events, customer events and tradeshows.
You can build strong relationships with event organizers to develop effective strategies and maximize business outcomes from each event, including: sponsorship selection, speaking opportunity bookings, booth set up and management, meeting scheduling, travel arrangements, etc.
You can communicate and coordinate with our leadership team efficiently and effectively to maximize their appearance at key industry events.
You are able to build processes for repeatability and scalability of events’ activities to help us drive growth and accommodate for future scaling.
You are a great communicator and relationship builder.
You are a detail-oriented and creative problem solver, with a focus on delivering a flawless event experience for our prospects, customers and our team.
You understand the full lifecycle of event management and the logistics required to run successful events from beginning to end.
You can manage end-to-end logistics for in-person and virtual events, including: coordinating travel, onsite activities, client meetings, signage, swag, collateral, inbound and outbound shipments, and booth set up / tear down.
You can provide detailed reports on conferences and events, incorporating key learnings and historical knowledge from previous events to make recommendations for future events.
You can collaborate with sales and leadership teams to ensure a smooth transition for prospects from marketing to sales.
You’re willing to travel 25% to 30% of the time to assist with live events.

What we’re looking for

At least 5 years of experience in event strategy and execution.
Must be self-motivated and work independently to own our events strategy from beginning to end.
Experience working with conference organizers, PR and marketing agencies and cross-functional stakeholders to maximize business objectives.
Experience coordinating show services, trade show booths, speaking opportunities, and onsite event logistics for multiple events simultaneously.
Must have excellent organizational skills including attention to detail, ability to multitask, and ability to independently own and manage events from start to finish, while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Google Suite, project management software (e.g. Trello, Jira, Asana, etc.) and good knowledge of marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Active Campaign, etc.)
** We don’t expect you to have them all, but we do expect you to be exceptional at some. We can’t wait to learn what those are.

Benefits

100% medical, dental & vision insurance coverage for you
Parental Leave
Unlimited PTO
WFH stipend to support your home office needs
Monthly wellness stipend
