Senior Accountant or Auditors

WORK SET-UP:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Accounting-related course
- At least 2 to 3 years work experience with big 4 accounting firms
- CPA qualification is an advantage (open for CPA and non-CPA)
- Can work full-time hybrid or home-based
- Confident with good English communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- Well-versed in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements and financial closing process
- Advanced computer and excel skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
-Maintaining accurate financial records such as processing of business transactions
- Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
- Perform general ledger functions and month-end or year-end closing process
- Reporting and managing operational metrics and financial forecasting or risk analysis
- Perform reconciliation of accounts and substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
- Performing audits and resolving discrepancies
- Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts
- Assist in the tax preparation and tax filing, as needed
- Other ad hoc duties or assigned accounting tasks as needed
