We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have previous experience writing grants for U.S.-based companies and a proven track record of securing funding. This role involves researching grant opportunities, writing compelling proposals, applying for RFPs, and maintaining relationships with potential partners and funders. You will also be responsible for drafting contracts and conducting thorough research to identify grants that align with both our for-profit and non-profit business goals.
As a part-time role, there is potential to transition to full-time if the candidate successfully helps us secure funding.
Responsibilities:
• Research and identify relevant grant opportunities for our for-profit and non-profit sectors.
• Write, edit, and submit persuasive grant proposals and applications.
• Prepare and submit RFPs and contracts for potential business partnerships.
• Build and nurture relationships with organizations that align with our mission.

• Collaborate with leadership to meet organizational funding needs and goals.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2 years of grant writing experience, specifically for U.S.-based companies.
• Proven track record of securing grants and funding.
• Strong understanding of the grant cycle, including researching, writing, and submitting grants.
• Experience writing RFPs and contracts.
• Excellent written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate with partners and funders.
• Research skills to identify new grant opportunities.
• Familiarity with non-profit and for-profit funding requirements.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in project management related to grant submissions.
• Familiarity with U.S. government grants and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of Trello, Salesforce, Zoho and/or other Grant tracking systems
