Tax Preparer / Professional

Hello potential Tax Professionals!

Tailormade Tax is a professional tax preparation business that works with local clients in Maryland and virtually! We offer a variety of financial services to our customers, primarily focusing on tax preparation.
As we continue to grow our business we are looking to hire hard working tax preparers.
Pay will range from $600-$1200 per month for part time / full time depending on experience and skills
We have great growth opportunities as well to work as a tax preparer ongoing outside of the tax season dependent upon performance.


Responsibilities:
Making phone calls to prospects who completed a contact form interested in filing their taxes with us (this is not cold calling!)
Helping contacts and prior year customers schedule appointments
Run and complete various weekly client status reports
Send and respond to clients emails, texts and direct messages
Send out various virtual incentives to clients as needed
Collect client information and input into tax software system (taxslayer pro and crosslink)
Know how to prepare personal small business tax returns : 1040, Schedule C, Schedule A and some 1120s as needed
Ensure client documentation is properly stored
Respond to inquiries regarding tax return preparation status
Following up with missed appointments to get them rescheduled, and various other call campaigns.


Requirements:
Must have a stable internet connection
Your own Laptop or Desktop computer to work from
Quality noise cancelling headset for clear calling
Know and understand US IRS tax law
Software Training will be provided
