Accountant

TLC Nursing is looking for a staff accountant to join our team. This person will manage all of our billing procedures to ensure TLC Nursing's overall financial health.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, excellent attention to detail, and deep knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

Make outbound collection calls in a fast-paced goal-oriented accounts receivable department
Assist with the weekly billing process
Resolve customer discrepancies and short payments
Monitor and maintain assigned accounts, customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations, and process credit memos
Reduce delinquency of assigned accounts
High volume phone calls/emails to employees and clients
Reconcile customer disputes regarding balances due
Assist Billing, Sales, and Accounting departments to resolve billing issues
Requirements

2+ years high volume corporate collections experience
knowledge of billing and collections procedures
Ability to work overtime during monthly Billing
Requirements:

Experience in accounting or related field
Strong math skills
Deep knowledge of accounting principles
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to handle information confidentially 
Familiarity with accounting software preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel
Proven experience meeting regular deadlines
