Web Developer

Mission / Purpose

Help design a fast, functional, and sophisticated website for a USA Today and Wall Street Journal bestselling press! Apply to join the Leaders Press team.

We are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the design and layout of our website. Ongoing responsibilities include converting our existing website theme from Thrive Themes to Astra. Work will be completed on our sandbox server, until such time we're ready to go ---------- the process, we will require minor updates to the design, as required. The Web Developer must be a team player, responsive and efficient, with fast response times.

Ongoing requirements (as required) include:
WordPress & plugins installation/updates/management
Website design updates

Required experience:
WordPress management/installation
Working knowledge of Plesk (At least 1 year)
Working knowledge of Amazon AWS (At least 1 year deploying/managing EC2 and S3 buckets)

Nice to have experience:
A good understanding of optimizing the website to pass PageSpeed Insights (Target >95 on Mobile/Desktop)
Working knowledge of Ubuntu 20.x (At the command line)
Working knowledge of Cloudflare, Domain Registration, & DNS
