Our team is looking for a skilled Content Strategist/Marketer to take charge, develop and execute our content strategies that drive traffic and generate leads.
The core function of the job is developing a content strategy based on a company’s or business objectives to achieve business goals, content planning, which includes content creation, curation, planning, and research.
To be successful as a content strategist/Marketer, you should be able to collaborate with the marketing team to develop innovative ideas. Ultimately, an outstanding content strategist should demonstrate exceptional content presentation skills and be able to work well under pressure.
The content strategist/Marketer's responsibilities include determining which formats best communicate various types of content, identifying ways to increase brand awareness, and conducting keyword research. You should also be able to analyze user engagement metrics to determine whether the content is well-received or not.
Job responsibilities:
• Planning content marketing strategies and establishing short-term goals
• Ensure that content strategy meets business objectives
• Undertaking content marketing actions to achieve business targets
• Collaborating with design and content writing teams to implement the strategy,
articulate internal and external key messages, and ensure that content is aligned accordingly, and produce high-quality content
• Develop editorial strategy/calendar, so content is consistent across all delivery platforms
• Creating and delivering engaging content regularly
• Proofread, editing, and improve the content
• Optimizing written content while using your understanding of SEO, keyword research, Google Analytics, information architecture, and usability best practices to deliver targeted content
• Use consumer analytics to determine the best way to engage users, increase customer loyalty, generate leads, and measure brand awareness
• Sharing different types of content through various channels
• Receiving customer feedback
• Generating new ideas to magnify customer engagement
• Perform extensive research and analysis on consumer thoughts and trends
• Create specifications and content appropriate for the brand's customer personas
• Develop and oversee content governance guidelines for tone, style, and voice of all content, and ensure they are followed
• Conduct periodic content audits
• Track and calculate content ROI
• Performing content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed
Job requirements:
• At least 2-3 years of demonstrated work experience as a Content Marketer
• Proficiency in MS Office/Google Workspace/Google analytics
• Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Software
• Knowledge of web publishing requirements
• Hands-on experience with SEO, web traffic metrics, and SEM
• Having an editorial mindset and the ability to recognize and predict audience inclinations
• Profound familiarity with various social media platforms
