Audio Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Assistant Audio Engineer will edit multiple new and existing podcast projects, and will work cross-functionally with production to streamline podcast workflows and media management. This is a contractor position, project based position that will be paid hourly.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Clean up basic podcast dialogue
Edit podcast episodes in ProTools, and manage audio post-production workflows
Create and optimize remote workflows for podcasts
Work with post-production staff to organize and store podcast files
Qualifications
Must have professional reel or portfolio of previous work to apply
Minimum of 2-4 years of professional audio engineering and editing experience
Ability to operate efficiently and balance multiple projects simultaneously
Must demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to troubleshoot post-production issues as they arise for remote recordings
Proficient in Avid Pro Tools
Able to work and communicate within a team structure while also working independently to meet daily and weekly deadlines
