The Fox Magazine is a premier lifestyle publication seeking a motivated web designer/developer to work 2-3 hours per week.

The website designer will be responsible for the coding, innovative design, and layout of our websites and email marketing campaigns primarily through WordPress. You should be able to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. We need a tech-savvy professional, who is curious about new digital technologies and aspires to combine usability with visual design and functionality. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful design and possess superior user interface design skills. Ultimately, you should be able to create functional and attractive digital environments for our company.

Tasks you will be working on will include:

- Create website layout/user interface by using standard WordPress/HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our sites
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
- Ensure high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency
- Identify target audience and grow our email list
- Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns
- Ensure mobile-friendly website design personalization, and advanced features
- Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements

Requirements:

- Proven working experience in web programming and design
- In-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- Understanding of the entire web development process
- Knowledge of SEO/SEM and Google Analytics
- Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
