Public Relations Specialist

The Fox Magazine is a premier lifestyle magazine seeking a motivated public relations specialist to work 7-10 hours per week.

This role offers great digital experience in the day-to-day world of magazine publishing. Since March of 2016, the magazine explores an original, vivid, and timeless insight into the essence of photography, travel, food, fashion, music, and technology. Available in both print & digital.

PR specialists will assist The Fox Magazine with public relations and marketing helping to expand clients and increase ---------- erns will have the opportunity to work completely remote on tasks for social media campaigns, press releases, proofing written materials for style and grammar, planning and executing special events, and cultivating relationships with collaborators + brands.

This role will expose interns to a wide professional network of journalists, scholars, photographers, musicians, travelers, chefs, and even fashion designers. As they work, interns gain valuable insight into the workings of a magazine with global reach. Opportunities to receive special projects, and attend events may also include ---------- munication will be made through Google Hangouts every week to ensure educational values are being upheld.

Requirements

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to inform and entertain
- Knowledge of digital media industry
- An innovative self-starter with problem-solving skills, creativity, ambition, and a strong work ethic.
- Candidates should demonstrate an interest in media with the topics covered in The Fox Magazine such as photography, travel, music, fashion, food, and technology. We particularly wish to hear from candidates with experience in public relations for publication in any medium.
