Junior Accountant (CPA)

We are currently seeking for a Junior Accountant to join our Team.


We are a very experienced and progressive Accounting & Bookkeping team where you will continue to learn and develop your accounting career.


Junior Accountant

An ideal role if you are just starting out in your accounting career, you will be responsible for supporting a range of accounting and finance administrative tasks across the business unit.


Your key responsibilities will include providing Bookkeeping & Accounting support to a variety of internal and external stakeholders which includes but is not limited to:

Bank Reconciliations
Processing of deposits and payments
Processing of supplier invoices and reconciliation at month-end
Payroll, Superannuation, Workers Compensation workings, and reconciliation
Maintenance of Fixed Assets Ledger
Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Reconciliation and Working Papers Schedules
Preparation of Customer Invoices and printing of Customer Statements
Preparation of Ad Hoc Reports
Preparation of working papers for BAS and IAS
Preparation of working papers for Company, Trust and Individual Tax Returns
Partner with other key stakeholders within the team to provide timely information and feedback to enhance team performance.

To be successful in this role, you must be a strong team player and problem solver. Additionally, you will have:

Sound knowledge of general accounting principles and practices Australian Accounting Standards, Australian tax legislation, and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be an advantage
Ability to effectively communicate with and gain cooperation and assistance from customers and other key stakeholders.
Well-developed skills in time management, setting priorities, and planning.
Skills in delivering financial management and financial system training internally.
Ability to problem solve by applying technical solutions to solve accounting issues and database ---------- n work under minimal supervision and with the ability to meet deadlines and work under ---------- tail-oriented, analytical, organized, responsible, hardworking, consistent, proactive, and eager to create valuable outputs
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
