Full Stack Laravel/VueJS Developer

Our client is looking for a seasoned Full Stack Developer / VueJS Developer. Work will include the following:

- Writing awesome, clean and organized code, based upon requirements
- Provide architectural-level insights on technology approach
- Work in a team with other developers, UX designers, QA and our founders to develop the best solutions and solve complex problems
- Research, suggest, and implement the best technologies and solutions
- Rely on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals in a timely manner
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment (remote, and international)
- Work with project stakeholders, when needed, to flush out project requirements
- Review pull requests and provide feedback
- Think through platform ideas, and collaborate on product development

Ideal candidate must meet the following requirements:
- Strong proficiency with modern JavaScript and PHP and Laravel
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, and CSS3
- Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application (how to horizontally scale)
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, and how they may be integrated with other code bases (mobile Apps etc)
- Experience with Redis or equivalent in memory-caching. Experience with Queuing and background job processing
- Expertise and experience with management and performance optimization of large-scale or complex ---------- to-scaling and horizontally scalable architectures
- At least 2 years of experience working in an Agile Team
- Experience working in a CI/CD working environment
- Experience with Git, and best practices with Git workflows; ability to navigate GitHub UI and check in/out and branch code -code using either command line or SourceTree (or equivalent).
- Minimum ten (5) years professional experience in backend software development
- Minimum (4) years in Laravel

Salary: up to $2,000 depending on experience
Work hours: 4 hours flexible; 4 hours (until 11am US EST)
