Website Developer for a Real Estate Company

We are working on a simple, new website (WordPress) for a luxury real estate company. This is a project-based remote job with 20-40 hours a week as long as we meet deadlines for the development of the website (8 weeks before launching).

Web Developer Responsibilities:
- Website and software application designing and building.
- Implementing test routines along the development process to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.
- Back up files from websites to local directories for recovery.
- Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
- Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.
- Troubleshoots any issues with the website.

Web Developer Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is not required.
- Portfolio (as proof of your work).
- Solid knowledge and experience in website development.
- Has a strong sense of professional-level creativity and has a keen eye for a good website aesthetic.
- Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
- High degree of independent judgment.
- Must be reliable with content creation/writing in case needed.
- Able to solve complex problems.
