We're on a mission to accelerate students' journey to their dream careers. We provide world-class service built on top of our own proprietary technology platform to help students win scholarships, get into their top-choice schools, and find the right career opportunities for them. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for talking with students who are strong candidates for our platform and educating them on how we can help them graduate debt-free.

The role:

This job is a voice role.
You will be talking with families that are interested in our services and qualifying them to see if they are a fit for our platform.
You will be responding to student questions via email and text message.
You will be confirming interviews with students and parents while answering their initial questions about the platform.
Work closely with the team to ensure our pipeline is maintained and optimized.
Nurture students to educate them on their ---------- e our internal tools to track activity and outcomes.
You will learn the ins and outs of the education system, scholarships, and jobs to educate students as you interact with them.
You stay up to date on our rapid product advancements to communicate opportunities to students.

Are able to work day, evening, or overnight shifts as needed

Are self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Love getting feedback because you’re hungry to improve
The skill of being relentlessly resourceful. You always find a way to get stuff done.
Great at navigating new software and learning on the fly.
Are masters of efficiency, are highly organized, and love using technology to get things done quickly

Bonus points if you:

Have worked in customer-facing roles, either in sales or customer service - yes, that includes retail and restaurants!
Been part of a startup or are an entrepreneur
Have remote work experience with companies in
Won (or even applied for) scholarships and have an understanding of some of the challenges involved
Have participated in organized sports
