Job Description

We’re looking for a Duda & WordPress Developer responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. You’ll need a combination of programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, the colour and font choices, and so on). Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is preferred. If you also have an understanding of the entire web development process including design, development, and deployment that would be ace (but not essential).

Key Responsibilities


Building high performing custom WordPress or Duda websites

Interpreting designs (In Sketch or Adobe XD) and then coding up

Experience in dealing with plugins for the functionality of a site

Designing and implementing new features and functionality

Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture

This is a full-time permanent role and the salary will be dependent on experience


Essential Skills/Experience

Demonstrable WordPress experience across multiple projects

Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery

Understanding of code versioning tools such as GitLab would be helpful but not essential

A grasp of digital design (UX/UI) best practices would be useful

Problem-solving skills

A methodical and logical approach

You’ll be involved in the development of new web projects and will also work on the maintenance and continuing development of existing client sites. You’ll have the opportunity to join a growing business while also growing your own skillset.
