Awesome Python developer

We are looking for someone to build Web applications in Python. We want a team player. You may be working from home but you will be working on projects with other developers.

We value Passion over anything else. Even if you don’t have some of these skills but you are willing to learn them then that is fine by us. Just let me know what you don’t know :)

Ideally you will need to know about the following technologies:
o Python - Experience in Flask would be ideal.
o AngularJS (Would be really useful if you have this already)
o PostgreSQL is the database we use. (As long as you have Basic Database and SQL knowledge you will be fine)
o Bootstrap 3 (and some 2) or Material (Google's Angular UI Framework) (Really Useful)
o Git for source control

We expect you to have your own PC that is powerful enough for software development. We also expect you to have a good internet connection as we expect you to be available 9-5 Monday to Friday (your time). Every working day you are expected to push your code up to our git server and send an email update on what you worked on every working day.

At Ocom we try to limit assumptions so we expect lots of questions. No question is dumb. Making silly mistakes because you didn't ask is dumb. So we expect you to ask LOTS of questions.

You will be expected to Write and Test your code. We will review and test your code also. You will receive feedback about any changes or bugs we find. You will need to remember that the feedback is about making the solution better and not a failure by you. We expect you to take responsibility for the code you write and have a desire to create awesome code. We aim to please and excite our customers, We expect all our staff to do the same.

In return we will try to create a fun work environment that is also challenging so you will need to have a passion for learning and problem solving. You will get to work a diverse range of projects and play with new technologies all the time as we a constantly improving our work process.

We will be working together to create solutions for our clients that delight and excite them. The best way to create only way to do that is if you feel the same way when you create them. Is this you??
