ABOUT FISHVERIFY

We are a company based in Miami, Florida. We’ve developed an app that uses image recognition and artificial intelligence to help recreational anglers identify what type of fish they caught, learn local rules & regulations and whether or not it’s legal to harvest. We strive to help our users know the fish, know the rules and help preserve our marine resources by supporting sustainable fishing practices.

Our goal is to preserve our local fish populations by providing fishermen of all skill levels with a useful tool that assists with identification and regulations; hopefully encouraging a catch an release mindset.

We are a small team and strive to create a positive work environment were everyone is constantly learning and growing. JOB DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate is someone who:

? Is completely fluent in oral and written English (USA)
? Has strong communication skills
? Is willing to learn new tools and processes
? Is a creative thinker
? Is VERY detail oriented
? Is a problem solver and doesn’t need hand holding for every task
? Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
? Is looking for professional growth.

Requirements:

? Over two years job experience in online marketing / VA work
? Knows basic SEO strategies (for Google)
? Familiar with Google Drive, Docs and Sheets
? Willing to use time tracking software
? At least 8 mbps internet connection
? Can work 40 hours per week

Here's a glimpse into a typical week on the job:

? Writing 2 to 3 blog posts ( ---------- is a good example.)
? Writing and sending our weekly newsletter
? Implementing blog posts into our WordPress website (bonus points if you have a bit of html knowledge)
? Writing + implementing new graphics / content into our social media channels

Other work we need help with:

? Preparing our Facebook and Instagram calendar by writing engaging captions
? Helping with keyword research and our content strategy
? Finding stock photography
? A few other administrative tasks

We want someone who is passionate about these topics. If you are a great writer but haven’t done a few of the tasks listed above, we are more than happy to teach you!

- You can work from home or wherever is most comfortable for you. You can also complete tasks on your own time as long as submitted by the agreed due dates. Due dates will be assigned from Monday - Friday, but you can work any day of the week.
